Saturday afternoon. Originally planned a visit to the Joan Miro Museum however they were on strike, so
instead we visited the Picasso Museum. Unfortunately photographs were not allowed. So below is the
original Infanta Margarida Maria by Velazquez with just 2 of the 58 interpretations Picasso did. I am sure
you will recognise them.
Below are some photographs of the Museu Del Modernisme, a museum devoted to the art and design of the
‘Modernisme’ period in Barcelona.
On Sunday morning we visited the Museu Nacional D’Art de Catalunya (National Museum of Catalan Art)
Returned at noon to the centre of Barcelona to await bus to the airport at 3pm. Below are a few
photos to remind you of the lovely weather we had that day.
